Withania Somnifera--known in India as Ashvagandha is an branching shrub which has fleshy and bulky roots found extensively in Indian Subcontinent since times immerorial.
Ayurvedic ancient text has described it as a general Nerv Rejuvinator and potent Aphrodisiac with Tranquilising properties.
It has been suggested for Ageing persons feeling weakness in day to day life.
Its Anti depressive effects and Mood- Behaviour improving effects are well analysed and time tested.
General Fatigue,Lack of Concentration, has been a prevalent complaint of persons in today's LIFESTYLE.
Ashvagandha is one single herb other than Sarpgandha which has been very effective in treating
anxiety symptoms ,Fatigue symptoms,and Ageing symptoms well in Ayurvedic Formulations.
Many describe this, as a Indian substitute of Ginseng, which has been sung by West for long for its Adaptogenic, Neuroprotective, and Aphrodisiac properties.
